Ultraviolet light damages the skin, destroys collagen, elastin, the skin becomes less elastic, wrinkles appear and pore size increases. This serum contains Retinal, Niacinamide, Gluconolactone, which help the skin improve its ability to regenerate, which improves skin elasticity, reduces fine lines and visual pore size. The serum contains Tranexamic Acid, Retinal, Kojic Acid, Niacinamide, Arbutin, Licorice Root Extract, which help to even out skin tone, minimize the appearance of age spots, and make skin smoother and more radiant.
Tranexamic acid reduces inflammation from UV, which slows down melanogenesis, and reduces tyrosinase activity. It also reduces the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor, which helps to reduce melasma. Retinal fights pigmentation by transforming into retinoic acid in the skin, which enhances epidermal cell renewal. This reduces the time of contact between melanocytes and cells, and the pigment does not have time to pass into the epidermal cells. Niacinamide, which also effectively inhibits melanogenesis by preventing the transfer of pigment from melanocytes to keratinocytes, thereby reducing the number of coloured cells.
Retinal, being converted into retinoic acid, fights skin aging, reduces wrinkles, makes the skin more elastic, smooth and supple. The advantage of Retinal compared to retinoic acid is its good tolerance, milder effect, and fewer side effects. According to a study of 125 patients, a significant reduction in wrinkles and roughness was observed at week 18 of Retinal use. Niacinamide in serum enhances the anti-aging effect of Retinal, improves skin elasticity and reduces wrinkles. Gluconolactone evens out the skin texture, helps to firm it and smooth fine lines and wrinkles.
A powerful balanced complex of lipophilic and hydrophilic antioxidants protects cell membranes, skin cells and intercellular substances from damage. Tranexamic Acid, Retinal, Niacinamide, Green Tea Extract, Licorice Root prevent the depletion of internal antioxidant resources.
Retinal is the only retinoid that shows antibacterial activity when applied topically. Also, Retinal, being converted to retinoic acid, prevents the formation of comedones.
